I had surgery last week to remove endometriosis and to check out my uterus/Fallopian tubes/ovaries. Scott and I have been unable to get pregnant despite fertility tracking and (some) medication use. We are hopeful that this procedure will help us succeed with a pregnancy and also give us some additional answers.
I haven’t been extremely open about what we are going through, but I am hoping to change that. It can be a lonely spot to be in when you feel like you’re facing something like this by yourself.
I wanted to put together some of the things I have found helpful since surgery and moving forward:
- Loose fitting joggers (which I wore to the hospital and home)
- Bralettes
- Good fitting sports bra with no wire(required by my doctor to wear to/during surgery)
- Cotton lounge pants
- Cotton bike shorts
- Extra strength tylenol
- Gas-X
- Colace stool softener
- Always pads with flex foam
Most of the clothes items I sized up so that they were loose and comfortable.
